My classmates Kate Lydon and Anton Willis are going to be giving a talk today at Flora Grubb. This is about their dreamy project about lunar sensored lights. It's from 7-9pm at 3rd and Bay View.

I think tonight is the last night for this free, open air movie. 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"
At Delores Park. 6.15pm.

Impromptu theatre. At UC Berkeley, and in different parts in Berkeley.
I first found out about this when I was in NYC. Someone had described his encounter with the guerilla actors... (I'm not sure how to spell guerilla in this case... Ian, I'm sure you know..)
He was at an intersection, and noticed these 'actors' on different sides of the streets. He noticed that they were actors because different ones of them would call out, yell out, what not. Very short performances, and they had just departed into separate ways.
Interesting. Anyway, the Bay Area is hosting them too... along with other places in the nation.
A good book to acompany this is Games for Actors and Non-Actors. http://improvencyclopedia.org/references//Games_for_Actors_and_Non-actors.html. They are games to be played by the 'Theatre of the Opressed." Lovely. My Baltimore gang would know that we had participated in a few of the games at gas stations.. Thanks to Mike Smith and David Nishizaki.
